I have seen the CRYSTAL edge chassis that My Open PC sells before. But I had not noticed I they also sell the bench test chassis called the DOMA Pro PCI. A friend turned on to the DOMA and I must say this chassis has fulfilled all of my expectations. The DOMA is just the right size to keep on the bench to allow for easy testing of components. Since the chassis made of Acrylic there is no worry about inadvertently shorting item and you move them quickly in and out of the DOMA's chassis. To top it all off the form and presentation of the DOMA Pro PCI is great! I would be comfortable using this chassis as a base for a piece of technical art for the living rooms as I am using it the office.

High points for the Doma:
+ Smoked Acrylic construction looks great anywhere!
+ Small size lends to easy test stand usage without cluttering up your workspace.
+ Quick-release mechanism for the card slot secures the expansion boards while still allowing fast access.
+ Built in handles allow for easy carry even when fully loaded.
+ Space for ATX motherboards and hole patterns to accommodate smaller sizes as well.
+ Easy to read and understand instructions! Almost too easy.
+ Pre-organized and labeled hardware kit container facilitates fast Assembly of the DOMA Pro. Hold spare parts for later use too!
+ Gloves! Now what other computer chassis maker beside My Open PC provides this kind of detail to protect their customers?!? Excellent!
+ Easy mounting for hard drives and optical drives on the stand.
+ Non-conductive base material to keep your components safe even when you are in a hurry.
+ A very useful acrylic wrench is also included to help hold and tighten the hardware huts during Assembly. Nice touch!

Another comment about the gloves and the overall completeness of the kit. Everything comes so well packaged and prepared that I can easily see the DOMA Pro PCI being chosen for use as part of the lab equipment for a computer technology course or company training. The price of the kit is certainly bargain. Everything is well organized to allow concentration on the system rather than the chassis. The gloves would be one less detail for student protection that would not have to be added separately. Wins for any training course and the student. Plus the student would have a nice chassis to take away with them on completion.

The DOMA Pro PCI come close to perfection in almost every way for its intended purpose. But there still a few point I would like see address for the next version.

- The space between the motherboard and power supply is a little tight. While this will not affect most situations, usage with a very large heatsink that hangs more than 1/2 inch over the motherboard might be an issue.
- A few more tie down points at the edges for loose cabling. Once again this point is not a big deal given the primary purpose. Some stick-on tie downs and/or Velco ties.
- Inclusion of spacer(s) for the optical drive and hard drive mounting areas for those times when the DOMO Pro PCI will be used only with a flash reader as a boot source.
- Even though you can easily rotate the chassis in any direction the control are in the "front" of the chassis. I would like to see a mount point for some USB ports in the front. For not I have left a bracket mounted internal connection USB port dangle from the motherboard connectors.
- Since I am primarily using the DOM Pro PCI as a bench test chassis base I would like to see some sort of snap fit attachment for the motherboard as an option in addition to screwing down the motherboard. This would allow for faster swap when testing a series of motherboards.

Every point above are small ones I was already aware of when I bought my DOMA. They should not keep you from making you purchase of the DOMA Pro PCI as this chassis will turn out to be one of the most valued computer equipment purchases you will buy.
